Good Monday Morning Church!
Yesterday was another great day in the Lord!  It was a glorious Sunday.  It was so good to see you all, even if it was through a car windshield!  My earnest hope and prayer is that soon and very soon we will meet together in the building.  I do know this, when we meet again – things will be a little different.  I know we will all be excited to be together again, but we must refrain from hugs and handshakes for a while longer.  The elders are meeting Tuesday night to discuss the details of what opening the doors again will look like.
In the meantime, be of good cheer!  We will get through this.  This week we are studying Judges 10:6-17 on Wednesday night.  And on Sunday we plan to finish Paul’s great prayer of thanksgiving in Philippians 1:9-11.  So study up and be ready.
Our prayer focus for today is Extended Family and Friends …
JoAnn Spencer – more strength & stability in her legs (idiopathic peripheral neuropathy)
Jessie Day & family – God’s continued grace in his illness
Dina (friend of the Day’s) – strength for husband Mike as he cares for her; continues to slowly
improve physically; pray her communication skills will improve
Baby Easton – (friend of Savannah Rhyne) mom is Alyssa – problems since birth; he does have partial vision & hearing
Larry Westover, Bill’s friend, who has ALS, “Lou Gehrig’s Disease”
Gene Carter (Nola’s son-in-law) –having severe headaches pain his eyes
Joy (Julie’s aunt) – awaiting surgery for resection of bowel; pretty weak
John Mark Stuart (friend of Day’s) awaiting a heart transplant
Michael Meyering – recovery from shoulder surgery; wisdom regarding medication, etc.
Becca (Sheila K friend) – 10 year old with recurrent UTI – on strong antibiotic – parents
concerned there might be kidney damage
Scott Reedy & 14 yr. old son (in Denton)– motorcycle accident – multiple orthopedic injuries
Ray Ache (Sherry’s uncle) – burst eardrum
Tara Brooks (Sherry’s niece) – multiple health issues & now is expecting 1st baby (boy)
Judy Stewart – laid off in Hawaii
Steve Stewart – continue to strengthen him physically
Our song of the day was produced by myhopewithbillygraham.org performed by Lacey Sturm.  Lacey was a very popular secular artist who encountered the living Christ who radically transformed her into a trophy of grace.  She has since dropped in popularity but as you will see — sings now for the glory of God.  It’s called “Mercy Tree”

Good morning Church - and happy Saturday!

Sorry I missed yesterday. We got really busy in the morning, getting
ready for our “social distanced kinetic ministry outing” to Enchanted
Rock. We strategically chose the hottest day of the year in order to
ensure COVID-19 could not possibly survive the heat!

We had a great time! I think about 15 or 16 people showed up wearing
masks - and staying in groups of five. The only bad thing is we didn’t
make it down in time to get a snow cone — (they closed at 5 pm).

Tomorrow we are having our drive in service. The service will be the
same as last weeks. Please plan to arrive around 10:30 am in order to
facilitate parking. Parking attendants — ie: Elders and Deacons please
plan to arrive around 10 to prepare. We will be studying Philippians
1:3-8 the first part of Paul’s prayer for the Philippians. Lot’s of
rich truths to be gleaned from the text - give it a read today so you
can be prepared to plow through it with me.

The service will also be live-streamed on YouTube - same as last week.

God Bless
Pastor Jamey
